Item: 90 Description: Mardex Wall Tube. Clear Glass. 9.75 inches tall. This was used in connection with a Wall Mount insulator such as CD 1175 or CD 1177. Check out the NIA’s website for Foreign Glass Insulators. This item is found in the “CD -Unknown, TBD” section at the very end. On this example, both ends are ground down in the method of production dating from more than 100-years-ago. The name “MARDEX” is etched in the glass at one end. See View 5. We are told this item is from Italy. View 3 was sent to me to show what the two pieces look like together. Although as a Wall Tube, View 4 would probably be more correct. Grade A . Only the Wall Tube shown in View 1 and View 2 is included in this lot. Important: No one else who owns one of these seems to have one with the MARDEX name etched into the glass.
