Item: 89  Description: CD 245 T-H (010) Light Blue. The initials stand for the Thomson-Houston Electric Company. Elihu Thomson and Edwin Houston, both high school teachers, formed the company in 1883. Initially they sold lamps and dynamos, but their products expanded to keep up with the burgeoning electrical industry. They were so successful their company eventual merged with Edison General Electric to form the company we know today as General Electric.  Grade A-Minus: Some light wear in nibbles in the cable groove; natural annealing separation in the threads.
