Item: 72 Description: U-1886A Verbano Green Glaze. Verbano Ceramics produced porcelain insulators from 1931 to 1982. View 3 shows some ink stamped markings on crown and also an incuse marking at the far right of the umbrella. The insulator is 5.5 inches tall. (Photographed in direct sunshine on a white cloth backdrop. I did edit out the shadows created by the umbrella.) Grade A-Minus: Has two small, white, unglazed areas on the rim of the umbrella visible at the right in View 1. The only “damage” is some faint wear in the top cable groove. The insulator still has a metal pin cemented into the pin hole. Estimate: $100 - $120 Open: $75 Price realized: $130 |
