Item: 51 Description: U-180 Ohio Brass “Top Hat” in Dark Blue Glaze. Parts of this insulator were hand carved at the factory, leaving a rough and indented area near the base in View 1; and a flat spot at the top of the crown in View 2. View 4 shows more of the indented base at the far side of the picture. View 3 shows the marking on the dome. Grade B-Plus: Small base flake and a couple wire ridge nicks. Note: There’s some gum residue on the skirt from an old price sticker that I forgot to wash off before I took the pictures. Estimate: $100 - $120 Open: $60 Price realized: $210 |
