Item: 335 Description: U-2111 “Steeple Insulator” from Russia. Ironic nickname since the insulator is marked with the Communist “Hammer & Sickle” logo. The incuse marking is in that circle located on the left side of the crown below the T-Bar in View 2. I should note that this is the very insulator pictured on the NIA’s website for this U-Number. Grade B: A few nibbles on top the steeple, and on the far right upper edge of the T-Bar in View 2. The T-Bar is glaze welded to the body of the insulator.
