Item: 253 Description: U-2294A Berghaus (Germany). Porcelain Industry Berghaus operated from 1909 to 1945 in Thuringen, Germany. After World War Two the company was nationalized and used a different logo than the one on top the crown of this insulator. This item was made under a patent that had the pin and insulator as one piece. The whole unit would then be bolted to a pole or building. The size of this is about 6.25 inches long by 4 inches high. Grade C-Minus: Small bruise on the insulator; and one of the “eyes” is broke out. See View 2 and View 3. Estimate: $50 - $75 Open: $25 Price realized: $45 |
