Item: 156 Description: Scratch & Dent: CD 297 Locke / Other Patents Pending (035) Light Aqua. This EIN has all three patent dates, one of which is an engraving error. The Dec 15 1898 patent date should be Dec 15 1896. An interesting aspect of this insulator is that it had a lead insert in the pinhole so the insulator would screw onto a smaller pin. Grade C: Open bubble on innermost skirt; large bruise in wire groove, small skirt ping and nibbles on the inside edge of the outer skirt all visible in View 2.
